Front garden update
Posted by Chris @ 7:46 pm
Hello blog fans, just a quick update on our front garden. After we finished our makeover, it looked like this:
And now, only 2 months later, it looks like this!
The Sage has gone mad, whilst the English Lavender has flowered already! The French Lavender is bushing out nicely, as are the remaining herbs, and the spidery plants are looking healthy too. All in all its coming along nicely after 2 months, and weed control has been minimal (that's not to say we haven't had any!)

I'm not sure if that is a joke or not, so I'll answer it seriously. The two tone effect you are referring to in the first picture was because the stones were wet where I'd watered the plants - slates turns a nice dark colour when you wet it. However when I took the second picture we had been enjoying a dry period, so they all look the same colour.
Dumbass.

Actually it was a serious question, as I've never seen the garden other than that picture I assumed the two-tone effect was a feature (which I quite liked)Maybe you should incorporate it!!
