Arctic Monkeys - Favourite Worst Nightmare
Posted by Chris @ 8:22 pm
I'm an Arctic Monkeys fan, I like their music, I loved their first album, so like any good music fan I went and bought their new album, Favourite Worst Nightmare, yesterday. I listened to it yesterday evening, and I'm blogging about it tonight, interesting that, init?
Anyway, “what is the album like?” I hear you shouting. Well, truth be told, on first listen not as good as the first album, but then that was always going to be hard to follow. But don't get me wrong, this is still a very good bit of music and highly enjoyable, and I suspect after a few more listens it will grow on me, and I'll love it just as much as the first one.
Not a terribly in-depth review, I'll grant you that, but it is serving its purpose to highlight the new album and let you know it isn't bad! So go buy it and have a listen...

To be quite honest, I didn't think the first album was 100% brilliant. Probably about 75-80% or so. If this album's not as good as the first one, I might not even bother buying it.BTW, typo alert:
Favouite Worst Nightmare
You use Firefox, no? Do you have its spell checker switched on?

Hmm, I do use Firefox, I do have its spell checker switched on. I have a feeling it only seems to spell check text areas for me, as when I went to edit this post there was no dotted line under it in the title box, but plenty of dotted lines in the body under my html. Perhaps it is a setting somewhere, I'll go investigate...This comment posted by Chris

You're right. It only checks spell checks textareas by default. You can right click inside a field and select "Spell check this field" - although it doesn't seem to be a persistent setting.
Guess you'll just have to proofread your posts more carefully in future... :-P
