We're having a baby!
Posted by Chris @ 8:54 pm
You may have guessed it from a few rogue comments and Facebook statuses that Dawn and I are having a baby! We're both very happy about it, you can see our first 12 week scan below. This was quite amazing, we could see it moving and rolling around a lot more than we expected it too.
After telling all the family and friends, we've compiled a handy list of frequently asked questions (FAQs if you will).
- Were you planning this?
Yes - When is it due?
10th Jan 2008 - Do you know what sex it is?
No, we don't find that out until the scan at week 20. - Will you find out what sex it is?
Yes - Would you like it to be a boy or a girl?
We don't mind. - Is it Chris'?
You cheeky ******, yes, it is!
Hopefully that has cleared a few things up, fingers crossed everything will go well over the next 6 months or so, watch out for pictures of Dawn getting bigger and bigger! :o)

Congratulations! We're really pleased for you both. When the time comes to pick a name, don't forget to Google the full name to make sure they won't share it with an undesirable character, you know, like a mass murderer or a porn star. Obviously check the domain name's available too as they're bound to be a geek like Daddy! (Sorry Dawn, the geek gene is very dominant...)

Tony it's ok I've already sorted this and both Dawn and Chris are quite happy about it.If its a girl they are calling her Antonia and if its a boy quite naturally Anthony.
Im more concerned over which of us becomes Fat Uncle Tony??

Congratulations. From experience I can tell you that Dawn can look forward to severely decreased mobility over the next few months and Chris, you can look forward to Dawn becoming increasingly insane with all the hormones running through her system. By the time the baby is born you will saying to yourself "Please let me have my wife back".Haveing babies it the best kept secret ever. It's the most wonderful thing that can happen and you will finally know the true meaning of the words love (for your baby) and fear (when the child gets mobility, no sense of fear and a desire to explore!!).
Congrats!

Congratulations! You don't know me but we are very distant cousins. I'm a gg grandaughter of Thomas & Pheobe Stevenson. I have pictures of and a letter from Blanche Evelene Stevenson at age 5, that she sent to my Aunt Mabel. She is the daughter of Wybert and perhaps your grandmother?) In the picture she is dressed as Little Bo Peep in 1902. It's adorable. I'd gladly forward you some copies and I have more great stuff I'd share too, for free of course! :) Anyone interested can contact me at [email protected]
